Welcome to the website of Radio Witham the unique radio service providing programming to the patients, visitors and staff to Grantham Hospital.

The broadcasting service is totally voluntary with studios based in Grantham Hospital. We aim to providing music, news, entertainment and friendly chat to the wards broadcasting on Channel 1 on the bedside Hospedia system.

The League of Friends of Grantham Hospital have appointed station member Rob Mason as the new interim manager of the Hospital Radio station, Radio Witham.

Rob joined the volunteer radio station in 1991 as a presenter and progressed to the role of Programme Controller in 1996. In 2000 Rob moved to York and joined the York Hospital Radio where he assumed the role of Programme Controller in 2001, taking the station to national runner up in the coverted 'Hospital Station of the Year Awards'.

Rob, who works in the railway industry has returned to the East Midlands and rejoined Radio Witham in 2008. He will be hoping to assume the role full time after successful election to the post at the League of Friends AGM later in the year.
